Malham Cove

(May 2021)

In early May my partner, dog and I went to the splendid area of Settle in Yorkshire. It was cold and wet still at this point in the year, which was just after the lockdown rules had changed.

We were delighted to be away after so long stuck at home.

Even the most extreme weather doesn't stops me adventuring out and during this trip was no exception. On one day we faced snow, hail and sun!

One of the places we visited was the popular tourist spot of Malham Cove. This is a natural limestone formation where it's possible to walk over the stones and admire the panaromic views over Malham and beyond.

I can't do it justice explaining here though include a link below with further details about the area. It's well worth a visit and I recommend parking near Malham Tarn to take the wilder walk to the Cove.
